Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Rad Animal ("we," "I," or "Jake Goble doing business as Rad Animal") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit claude-consulting.vercel.app or engage with my AI consulting services.
1. Who I Am
Rad Animal is the AI consulting practice of Jake Goble, based in California. You can reach me at jake@radanimal.co.
2. Information I Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, company name (optional), and your message.
- Discovery calls: business context you share during our call, which is recorded and transcribed via Fireflies with your consent.
- Engagement data: during active client engagements, I collect business context you share (team structure, workflows, tools, strategy, goals) to design and deliver your system.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: the site is hosted on Vercel, which collects standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). I may also use privacy-respecting web analytics to understand which pages work; no cross-site tracking is used.
3. How I Use Your Information
- To respond to inquiries from the contact form.
- To deliver the services you've contracted for.
- To follow up with prospects who have expressed interest in working together.
- To improve the site and my consulting practice based on anonymized aggregate data.
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services (Subprocessors)
Running a consulting practice requires several tools. Each of these may receive a portion of your data as part of delivering services:
- Anthropic (Claude): the AI model used to help configure and deliver your system. Anthropic's Team/Pro plan does not train on customer data.
- Notion: client deliverables and workspace hubs.
- Vercel: site hosting and preview deployments.
- Google Workspace: email, calendar, and file storage.
- Calendly: discovery call scheduling.
- Fireflies: call recording and transcription (with your consent at call start).
- Formspree: contact form submissions routing.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit): email newsletter and follow-up sequences, if you opt in.
- Stripe: payment processing for paid engagements.
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy, which I encourage you to review if you want more detail on their handling practices.
5. Client Engagement Data
During active client engagements, I handle significant amounts of business context — including client lists, workflow details, strategy documents, team structures, and similar internal information. This data is:
- Used only for the purpose of designing and delivering your engagement.
- Stored in my access-controlled Notion workspace during the engagement and archived afterward for reference.
- Never shared with other clients or third parties outside the subprocessors listed above.
- Available for you to request export or deletion at any time after engagement completion.
6. Health-Related and Regulated Data (HIPAA)
Important: Rad Animal is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not sign Business Associate Agreements by default. If your business is subject to HIPAA (e.g., medical practices handling Protected Health Information), we will design your command center architecture to keep PHI out of Rad Animal's systems and your AI-assisted workflows. Medical records, clinical notes, and similar PHI stay in your HIPAA-compliant EMR (e.g., Aesthetic Record) — not in Notion, not in Claude, not anywhere Rad Animal touches.
If you need a formal Business Associate Agreement, please discuss this during your discovery call.
7. Data Retention
- Contact form submissions: retained in email/Formspree indefinitely unless you request deletion.
- Call recordings/transcripts: retained in Fireflies per that provider's policy (typically long-term archival). Can be deleted on request.
- Client engagement data: retained in Notion for the duration of our working relationship. On explicit request after engagement completion, I can delete or export.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the data I hold about you.
- Ask me to correct or update inaccurate information.
- Ask me to delete your data (subject to any legal obligation to retain business records).
- Opt out of any email follow-up at any time.
To exercise any of these, email jake@radanimal.co.
9. Security
I follow the principle of least privilege across all tooling: scoped API tokens, two-factor authentication, environment-variable secrets management, and regular credential rotation. No system is perfectly secure, but I treat your data with the same care I treat my own business data.
10. Children
This service is not directed at individuals under 18. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy to reflect changes in tooling or practice. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
